Description
The Powder Coatings Laboratory Technician performs laboratory tests and other laboratory work using conventional and computerized equipment, determines chemical and physical characteristics, operates laboratory instruments, and follows prescribed standards and safety procedures. The role requires 40 hours per week with no overtime, includes lab work and equipment operation, and accepts candidates with a four-year degree, associate's degree, or high school diploma; two years of postsecondary education in the specialty is usual, with equivalent education and experience sometimes accepted.
