Description
Coherent Corp. is hiring a hands-on Lab Technician to support Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE) film growth operations in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role involves monitoring furnace temperatures, weighing chemicals, mounting and etching substrates, loading and dipping wafers, programming growth cycles, measuring wafer properties, analyzing data, preparing furnaces, entering data in Access, troubleshooting furnace systems, handling acids, and supporting other production processes. The position begins with training at the Hillsborough, New Jersey facility and transfers full-time to the Easton, Pennsylvania facility after training. Candidates need at least a high school diploma or equivalent, two or more years of technical, scientific, or mechanical experience, laboratory and precision-measurement experience, and familiarity with PC-based LPE programming; an associate degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field is preferred.
