Description
The role leads and coordinates mineral analysis work in a chemical laboratory, detects and eliminates systematic errors, maintains equipment and laboratory procedures, records analytical data, and supports quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance. It requires a licensed professional in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering, at least five years of experience with AAS, ICP, and IR, laboratory accreditation and ISO 17025 experience, and availability for an 8x8 rotation.
