Description
SGS is hiring a Laboratory Analyst for its Livonia, Michigan laboratory. The role prepares and analyzes samples using analytical chemistry techniques and instruments such as GC-MS, titrations, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and mercury analysis, while maintaining laboratory safety, SOP compliance, instrument calibration, records, and turnaround targets. The position requires an associate degree in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline with 0–2 years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience or 3 years of relevant sample-preparation experience, advanced English, mathematical and reasoning skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds frequently.
