Description
The Laboratory Technician performs routine analytical techniques and sample-handling tasks, prepares samples for testing, operates laboratory instruments, conducts quality-control checks, documents results, maintains equipment and work areas, monitors chemical and consumable stock, and follows SGS quality, health, safety, and HSE procedures. The role requires Grade 12 education, the ability to read and write, relevant laboratory experience, and competencies including systematic work, thoroughness, attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork.
