Description
The Laboratory Assistant 2 - Float performs waived laboratory testing, interprets and reports results, conducts EKGs and point-of-care testing, and manages specimen collection, labeling, processing, distribution, and data entry. The role reports to the Laboratory Manager or Supervisor, requires a high school education or equivalent, and prefers phlebotomy, medical assistant, or related medical experience. The employee should be fully capable of performing as a lab assistant after three months of employment.
