Description
Dynacare is hiring a permanent full-time Laboratory Assistant - LHSC for its Vernon Main LHSC (5G) location. The role processes blood samples and other laboratory specimens, enters requisitions and results, provides patient-facing customer service, performs venipuncture, sorts specimens, performs ECGs, and follows laboratory SOPs and regulatory requirements. Applicants must be CSMLS or BCSLS certified or hold an accredited MLA qualification; applicants with a related scientific or nursing bachelor's degree, international MLA or MLT qualification, and at least one year of patient-facing phlebotomy experience may also be considered. The position is 100% onsite, pays $27.00-$30.75 per hour, and requires the ability to float among listed LHSC locations.
