Description
Dynacare is hiring one Laboratory Assistant float for a permanent part-time position guaranteeing 15 hours per week. The role is on-site in Midland, Bracebridge, Huntsville, Parry Sound, Gravenhurst, and surrounding areas, with a Monday-to-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule. Responsibilities include obtaining blood and other patient specimens, performing venipuncture and other tests, sorting specimens, entering patient and test data, providing customer service, and maintaining confidentiality and quality standards. Candidates need secondary school education, laboratory or medical laboratory assistance training, specialized phlebotomy training, customer-focused and detail-oriented skills, and English proficiency; MLPAO/CSMLS certification is strongly recommended. The pay rate is $20.00-$23.75 per hour.
