Laboratory Data Ontologist at Semaphore

Labbit is hiring a Laboratory Data Ontologist to work remotely from Canada or the United States. The role is split roughly 50% between billable client modelling leadership and 50% of internal ontology stewardship, standards development, reusable reference models, and sales support. The position requires strong knowledge of information theory, formal ontology, or knowledge representation, at least five years of experience with structured domain models, fluency in a modelling formalism, and the ability to elicit and translate domain knowledge into coherent models. The expected salary range is $150,000–$190,000 CAD or USD.
