Description
The Phlebotomy Technician performs specimen procurement, processing, quality control, laboratory recordkeeping, specimen transport, patient instructions, and related laboratory duties in Gettysburg Phlebotomy Services. The role is PRN and may work day, evening, night, on-call, or in-charge shifts, with on- and/or off-site service areas. A high school diploma or GED and less than one year of relevant experience are required; ASCP certification, Basic Life Support, medical terminology, and phlebotomy training are preferred.
