Description
The Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician performs specimen procurement, processing, quality control, laboratory data entry, specimen transport, patient instructions, and related laboratory duties. The role is part-time on a day-shift schedule with 48 hours biweekly, starting at 5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m., with nursing-home on-call and every-other-Saturday rotation. A high school diploma or GED and less than one year of relevant experience are required; ASCP certification and Basic Life Support are preferred. A valid driver's license is required, and the position may involve home visits.
