SGS is hiring a laboratory sample-preparation technician to prepare samples for laboratory analysis according to the Laboratory Quality Assurance Program. The role requires a high school education, no prior experience, and willingness to perform physically demanding work. It follows a Monday-to-Saturday rotating day and night-shift schedule, with Sunday work according to the laboratory's internal schedule, and pays Colombia's current legal minimum wage plus statutory benefits, a $9,000 daily refreshment allowance, and a $5,000 transportation allowance for late-shift starts or finishes.
