Description
Lam Research is hiring a Laboratory Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, calibrate, and document semiconductor equipment in an R&D applications laboratory. The role involves repairing mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and vacuum systems; handling hazardous materials; supporting prototype and customer-demonstration equipment; and collaborating with process development, hardware, and software engineering teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a technical field with at least five years of experience, or an associate degree or equivalent military training with at least seven years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience. The role may follow an on-site Flex or Virtual Flex hybrid model.
