The University of Pittsburgh’s Zhang Lab is hiring a full-time Laboratory Technician to support basic and translational research on lung diseases within the Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Division. The role focuses on laboratory mouse husbandry and experimental procedures, including maintaining accurate animal records, performing basic molecular biology techniques such as genotyping, RT-qPCR, and Western blots, assisting researchers with routine procedures, and managing lab supplies and equipment. The position is on-campus in Pittsburgh, requires a bachelor’s degree in a related science and at least one year of experience, and offers visa sponsorship.
