Description
Dynacare is hiring one Laboratory Assistant float for a permanent full-time on-site role across Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and Courtice. The position obtains blood and other patient specimens, performs venipuncture and other tests, sorts and steers specimens, enters patient and test data, provides customer service, and supports quality and regulatory compliance. Candidates need secondary school education, laboratory or medical laboratory assistance training, and specialized phlebotomy training; MLPAO/CSMLS certification is strongly recommended. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with pay of $21.00 to $24.75 per hour.
