Description
The Laboratory Technician will work in the Alloy Plant on a 3-shift rotation, reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor. The role involves analyzing alloy samples using combustion, optical emission, and X-ray fluorescence techniques; preparing samples; maintaining and standardizing laboratory equipment; maintaining 5S; entering results into LIMS; calculating bath additions using LIMS and Optimat; and making alloy chemistry adjustments. The position requires a science background, mathematical and computer skills, safety awareness, attention to detail, independent task prioritization, and communication skills. The role may be subject to export control restrictions, including ITAR.
