Description
The Research Laboratory Assistant supports scientific research through general laboratory operations, plant sampling, DNA extraction, high-throughput PCR, and laboratory inventory sample management. The role works in laboratory, greenhouse, and field settings, requires familiarity with laboratory techniques and Microsoft Excel, and needs at least one year of relevant research-laboratory experience. It is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is 100% site-based with occasional driving, and requires adherence to environmental health and safety standards and personal protective equipment.
