SGS is hiring a temporary Laboratory Technician for a 12-month role in Cambridge, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The position involves preparing and extracting food samples according to SGS-approved standard operating procedures, reporting equipment failures, maintaining auditable laboratory records, completing daily operational tasks, and following health and safety protocols. No prior laboratory experience or degree is required, but the ideal candidate has a food-process background and experience in fast-paced food or manufacturing environments. The salary is £24,758 per annum, with pension and annual leave benefits.
