Description
Veolia is hiring a Hazardous Waste Laboratory Technician to prepare and analyze hazardous waste, product, and process samples using EPA and ASTM methods. The role includes sub-sampling, instrument analysis, QA/QC, calibration, documentation, reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and regulatory audits. The position is based in a laboratory or operations environment, requires afternoon scheduling, and involves exposure to hazardous chemicals and other laboratory hazards. A high school diploma or GED, an AA degree in Chemistry or equivalent laboratory experience, and 24-hour HAZWOPER training are required; a bachelor's degree in a science discipline and HAZWOPER training are preferred.
