Virginia Tech is hiring a part-time Laboratory Technician in Blacksburg, Virginia to support research on soil and stormwater runoff. The role assists with laboratory operations, sample preparation, routine and specialized analyses, equipment maintenance and calibration, environmental health and safety compliance, and training student researchers; occasional field sampling may be required. Applicants need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, laboratory safety knowledge, organizational skills, office software proficiency, and communication skills.
