Description
The French Blood Establishment is hiring a part-time Laboratory Technician – Blood Donation Preparation – Student Permanent Contract to work at its Décines site in the Rhône department. The role prepares labile blood products, supports preparation-area organization, implements advanced preparation techniques, maintains equipment and automated systems, monitors process indicators, and handles anomalies. The position requires a medical laboratory technician qualification, two years of post-secondary education, Hepatitis B and DTP vaccinations, and availability for Monday-to-Saturday shifts, including occasional Sunday and public-holiday work. The schedule includes a weekly rotation between 7:00 a.m.–2:20 p.m. and 12:40 p.m.–8:00 p.m., with a cold-work allowance and public-transport reimbursement.
