UC Health is hiring a part-time Lab Technician for the phlebotomy department at University of Cincinnati Medical Center for first shift. The role collects patient specimens through venipuncture, skin puncture, or other techniques; accesses specimens into the Laboratory Information System; performs pre-analytic processing such as centrifugation, aliquoting, stabilization, and volume measurement; transports and stores specimens; and supports testing departments. The position also includes clerical duties, workstation and cart maintenance, patient communication, safety compliance, and training associates or students. A high school diploma or GED and formal phlebotomy training are required, while phlebotomy experience and certification are preferred.
