The Laboratory Analyst performs physicochemical and biological analyses of solid and liquid waste, liquid and gaseous effluents, and other products. Responsibilities include preparing laboratory equipment and samples, conducting measurements with instruments such as pH and conductivity meters, performing compatibility, viscosity, and corrosivity tests, monitoring external laboratory results, and coordinating administrative processes from sample collection through reporting.
