Down East Community Hospital in Machias, ME is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technologist (MLT or MT) for a Day Float position. This role involves performing various laboratory tests, reporting results to physicians, assisting in lab operations, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining equipment. The technologist will also supervise waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing after satisfactory completion of probation. Responsibilities include hematology, immunohematology, immunology, bacteriology, microscopy, routine chemistry, and therapeutic drug monitoring. A sign-on bonus is offered.
