Down East Community Hospital in Machias, ME is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technologist (MLT or MT) for evening shifts who must rotate weekends. This role involves performing various laboratory tests, reporting accurate results, assisting in lab operations, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining equipment. The technologist will also supervise waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing after probation. Responsibilities include hematology, immunohematology, immunology, bacteriology, microscopy, routine chemistry, and therapeutic drug monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess independent judgment, professional education, and National certification.
