Description
Michigan State University’s Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory is hiring a full-time Laboratory Technologist to process and test animal and environmental specimens for pathogenic bacteria and fungi. The role performs bacterial identification, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, laboratory assays, confirmatory and quality-control testing, reporting in Cerner, specimen coordination, client communication, equipment maintenance, and SOP review. Work may occur under Biosafety Level 3 conditions and includes rotating weekends, holidays, flexible scheduling, and emergency callback responsibilities.
