Description
The Construction Materials Tester performs laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. The role involves communicating testing results and project requirements with laboratory supervisors, project managers, engineers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders; preparing written and digital reports; maintaining equipment and work areas; following safety procedures; and documenting findings. The position is performed under close supervision, with progressive training and responsibility, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of experience, a valid driver’s license, and successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
