Description
The Laboratory Utility role reports to the Lab Manager and is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering samples, equipment, supplies, documents, and other work-related items as directed by Operations personnel. The position requires a high school degree or equivalent, a valid motor vehicle driver’s license, a maintained and insured personal vehicle unless a company vehicle is provided, dependable independent work, effective communication, and a professional appearance. Duties include maintaining contact with the Laboratory Department, operating a vehicle safely, and performing physically demanding work that may involve outdoor conditions, personal protective equipment, and lifting or carrying up to 45 pounds.
