Description
The General Laborer supports the crew of a vessel and performs general shipyard work, including lifting and carrying loads, handling steel, transporting supplies and equipment, unloading materials, maintaining yard cleanliness, and assisting the hull foreman. The role follows a Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. schedule and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces and heights, and comply with safety requirements. Prior shipyard or industrial experience and a high school diploma are preferred but not required.
