Description
The Natchez Trace Parkway is hiring a temporary Laborer for the National Park Service’s Experienced Services Program. The role performs moderately heavy outdoor labor using hand and power tools, maintains buildings, grounds, roads, trails, and related facilities, loads and unloads supplies, moves furniture and equipment, maintains signs, paints picnic tables and signs, tends lawns and vegetation, removes debris, and performs janitorial duties. Candidates must be 55 or older, legally eligible to work in the United States, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, at least five years of experience operating power equipment, power tools, and hand tools, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather. The position averages 29 hours per week at $21.14 per hour.
