Downer is hiring a Water Meter Replacer to replace water meters at residential and commercial properties as part of a planned infrastructure program. The role involves outdoor work, independent customer service, reliable vehicle use, safety and quality workmanship, and availability Monday to Friday with Saturdays optional. Applicants must have a valid driver's licence, reliable vehicle, current ABN, public liability insurance, and pass a National Police Check; plumbing, gardening, mechanics, handyman, construction, and labouring experience are highly regarded. Training, tools, safety equipment, and ongoing support are provided, while payment and contract terms are discussed with a contracting partner.
