Description
Scout Clean Energy is hiring a Midwest-based Land Agent to identify, acquire, and manage land parcels for renewable energy projects. The role focuses on landowner outreach and negotiation of leases, easements, and options; documenting stakeholder interactions; researching permitting and ordinances; using GIS tools to identify and microsite project features; supporting external land agents; and participating in community and government meetings. The position requires frequent travel of up to 75%, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Earth/KMZ/KML, online land-record systems, Adobe PDF, Salesforce or similar CRM, and preferably 3–5 years of renewable-energy land-acquisition experience. The ideal candidate is based in Boulder, Colorado, or one of several Midwest locations and can travel monthly to Boulder and across project states.
