Description
This nonexempt land development and permitting role leads daily work activities and provides technical guidance to coworkers while reviewing land development plans, drawings, construction plans, and design specifications. The position ensures compliance with environmental control, stormwater mitigation, pollution prevention, and applicable codes; oversees permitting quality control; supports customer service and resolves development inquiries; supervises plan intake and permitting procedures; processes permit and departmental documentation; and maintains records. An associate degree in civil or environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field plus two years of relevant experience is required, along with a valid Georgia driver's license and GSWCC Level 1 B Inspector Certification.
