Description
Control Point Associates is hiring an experienced Crew Chief for its NYC/Melville office to supervise and lead field survey crews. The role manages construction stakeouts, topographical, boundary, and as-built surveys; operates Trimble, Leica, Spectre robotic total stations, GPS RTK units, 3D laser scanners, and data collectors; performs field calculations and data management; maintains equipment and vehicles; mentors instrument operators; and serves as the on-site client contact. Candidates need at least five years of surveying experience in a managerial or leadership role, a high school diploma, strong technical and math skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime and travel overnight. Compensation is $31-$48 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
