Control Point Associates is hiring an Instrument Operator in Albany, New York to perform field surveying work including construction stakeouts, topographic surveys, preliminary boundary analysis, and as-built surveys. The role uses robotic total stations, data collectors, auto levels, GPS RTK units, wireless communications, and 3D laser scanners, and requires field calculations, equipment care, customer communication, and adherence to safety procedures. Candidates should have 1–3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, strong math and computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime and travel overnight when required.
