Description
The Operator – Heavy Equipment safely operates heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders at recycling centers, landfills, or transfer stations to transfer, spread, cover, load, and compact waste or soil. The role includes equipment inspections, monitoring waste and equipment condition, performing minor service, completing reports, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized shop. Candidates need two years of prior related heavy equipment operation experience and one year of experience at OSHA-regulated sites.
