Description
CW Resources is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Key West Naval Air to diagnose, repair, maintain, and test landscaping equipment, including John Deere tractors, zero-turn mowers, trucks, trailers, and small-engine tools. The role also involves welding or fabrication, inventory management, equipment transport, crew training, service logging, and coordination with landscaping crews. Applicants need 3–5 years of relevant heavy equipment, diesel, or small-engine experience, plus experience with tractors, mowers, trailers, trucks, and small engines; landscaping, construction, municipal, or agricultural experience; mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills; OSHA knowledge; a valid driver’s license and RealID; and the ability to obtain government base access. The position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an hourly wage of $23.93 plus allowances totaling $27.73 per hour.
