Description
The Universal Group is hiring a full-time Lane Closure Technician to set up, maintain, and remove traffic control measures in work zones across the lower mainland. The role leads traffic control personnel, directs motorists, monitors work zones, supports contractors on heavy underground, utility, electrical, paving, road-building, and special-event projects, and ensures compliance with WorkSafeBC and other traffic-control regulations. Candidates need at least six months of BC LCT experience, a current WorkSafeBC-recognized TCP certificate, a clean driving record, and smartphone access. The position pays $27.25–$31.80 per hour, requires five weekdays with occasional weekend work, and offers medical, vision, dental, life insurance, vacation pay, and other benefits.
