Description
The Large Equipment Operator - RC safely operates large equipment such as cranes, hydraulic excavators, loaders, yard semi-trucks, switch engines, back-hoes, or dozers. The role also handles equipment appearance and maintenance, material inspections, grading and segregation of scrap, customer assistance with unloading, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication of quality, environmental, or production concerns. Six months of large-equipment operating experience is preferred, along with knowledge of equipment operation and preventative maintenance, basic mechanical principles, customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
