Description
The Cable Production Machine Operator sets up, runs, monitors, and troubleshoots large extruders, ILA, strander, filler, rework, and cable-printing equipment in a cable-manufacturing environment. The role also handles material dryers, documentation, quality checks, customer service, and compliance with safety, ISO, SOX, and MIL standards. It requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of machine-operation experience preferred, forklift operation, Syspro ERP keyboard use, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday, with some flexibility, overtime availability, and 33 hours per week.
