Description
Winbro is hiring a Laser Applications Engineer to develop and test laser applications for machine tool systems and component manufacturing, support marketing, sales, and trade shows, monitor laser and optics industry trends, and assist with feasibility studies and business plans. The role is primarily based in the company’s laser application laboratory and technology center, with occasional customer support and continuous improvement work. Candidates need knowledge of laser processing and optics, familiarity with manufacturing processes such as EDM, laser welding, laser drilling, laser micro-machining, or milling, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
