Description
The Laser Communication Systems Engineer will develop and technically advance communication solutions for laser communication terminals, define system requirements and test concepts, analyze system and subsystem performance, coordinate technical specifications and verification strategies with customers and suppliers, manage supplier qualification, and support sales in acquiring new projects. The role requires a degree in aerospace engineering, physics, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a comparable field, several years of experience in systems engineering and requirements management, project leadership experience, knowledge of lasercom products, interdisciplinary knowledge of electrical engineering, optics, and mechanics, and strong German and English skills.
