Description
The Laser Cutting Machine Operator / Setup Technician will set up, operate, and program fiber and/or CO2 laser cutting machines to produce high-precision components. The role includes interpreting technical drawings and CAD files, developing G-code and CAD/CAM programs, adjusting cutting parameters, performing maintenance and quality inspections, maintaining records, and collaborating with engineering and production teams. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a technical diploma or associate degree in machining, manufacturing, or mechatronics is preferred; at least three years of laser cutting machine operation and programming experience and CAD/CAM proficiency are required.
