Description
Standard Iron is hiring a Laser Operator for its 2nd-shift team, responsible for setting up, loading, editing, and operating CNC laser cutting machines; handling sheet metal and finished parts with a forklift; performing first-part and random quality inspections; adjusting machine settings; conducting daily maintenance and advanced troubleshooting; and packaging finished goods. The role requires CNC operator experience, forklift experience, mechanical troubleshooting ability, shop math, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with pay of $24–$35 per hour, a 15% second-shift differential, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
