Description
The Laser Operator will set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain laser cutting machines to cut, shape, deburr, and kit metal sheets and parts according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders. The role includes material inspection, quality control, safety compliance, production monitoring, record keeping, and collaboration with engineering, quality control, and management teams. Candidates should have laser and power-tool experience, blueprint-reading ability, technical drawing interpretation skills, and knowledge of manufacturing materials; CNC machining education or certification is a plus. The role may require shift work, including weekends and overtime.
