Divergent is hiring a Laser Powder Bed Fusion Process Development Engineer to improve printed material performance, consistency, and manufacturing cost. The role involves qualifying L-PBF equipment and materials, developing print parameters and toolpath generation techniques, maintaining material qualification frameworks, advising on AM product feasibility, and supporting quality disposition and root-cause corrective actions. Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering field, at least five years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or technical project management experience, and five years developing L-PBF equipment, process parameters, or print-file programming.
