Description
The Laser Process Research and Development Engineer will develop innovative laser processes for industrial applications, evaluate new technologies, conduct experiments and feasibility studies, transfer research findings into industrial processes, provide technical consulting, and build technological networks. The role requires a degree or PhD in Physics, Laser Technology, Photonics, or a related field, experience with ultrashort-pulse or femtosecond lasers, knowledge of laser micro-machining and process development, and experience in a research or development environment.
