Description
The Camera Hardware Laser Safety Engineer will design and develop visible and infrared illumination technologies for Apple camera systems, ensuring optically safe illumination architecture from architecture and design through validation and high-volume production. The role owns laser safety compliance, including optical and electrical subsystem architecture, simulation and experimental validation, cross-functional collaboration, failure-mode analysis, and adherence to IEC optical radiation safety standards.
