Description
The Laser Safety Engineer at QuEra is responsible for ensuring end-to-end laser safety throughout the entire lifecycle of laser systems, from design to deployment. This involves specifying layered protections like optics selection, beam path routing, containment, and interlocks, addressing various hazards along the beam path, and designing robust control architectures. The role also includes performing hazard analyses, conducting verification activities, and aligning with global laser safety standards.
