Coherent Corp. is hiring a quality and laser testing technician to conduct comprehensive performance, safety, and reliability testing of laser products in a cleanroom environment. The role involves troubleshooting laser systems, documenting test results and corrective actions, collaborating with engineering and production, maintaining calibration of measurement equipment, participating in root-cause and continuous-improvement activities, and training junior technicians. A high school diploma and an associate or technical degree in engineering, electronics, optics, or a related field are required, along with at least two years of laser testing or related quality-assurance experience. The position typically works a day shift and requires compliance with ITAR, EHS, laser-safety, and applicable ISO standards.
